Here is our brother Emmanuel from South Sudan. He has a calling to be a pastor and a Christian musician as he has written his own songs. He has moved to Egypt because of the war and has been separated from his family for 3 months. As we prayed for a week the Lord opened our eyes to the needs. I continued to see the Lord's heart for his people when he said, "Love your neighbor as yourself (Matthew 19:19).  We purchased a wallet and filled it with enough Egyptian money equivalent to $250. We gave it as we said goodbye. He called me later that evening and said he has been praying for this exact amount because he was trying to save enough to bring his family to Egypt with him. On his own working effort this would have taken him a long time as each month is is able to save about $30. As he expressed is heart and that his prayers were answered you could hear the tears of the goodness of God. My this encourage you today.

I want to encourage the believers with this 1 John 3: 17-18,

"This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters. If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person? Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth."

This verse says it best, but to add a focus to the verse - let us see the needs of people around us and find ways to pour out the love of Christ in their lives. I guarantee you, the Lord will let you experience the joy and love and He has for you that is part of the Kingdom you can experience here on this earth.

Be blessed today!
