So far my time in Rwanda has looked like...
- Sharing a teaching on being the Bride of Christ with my squad.
- Helping out at a primary school.
- Waiting for a bus, still waiting, more waiting...
- Making the SWEETEST new friends!!
* Preaching on what it means to Live Life WITH God, rather than FOR Him.
- Watching movies with our new brothers- Joshua, Innocent, and Prince (our hosts’ sons).
- So. Much. Walking!!! And I’m talking like 15,000+ steps a day.
- And visits to the closest coffee shop to blog and call my family (the view’s not too shabby either).
- Rwanda, it has only been a week and I’m already in love. I can’t wait to see what the rest of this month entails and just KNOW that it’s definitely going to be one of my favorite’s!!
Sending you all my love direct from Rwanda, and praying you had the most SPECTACULAR 4th of July!! America, see ya in 50 DAYS!!!
-Meagan!
Prayer Needs:
- pray for SUPERNATURAL ENERGY for my team and I, that we may finish out this Race strong and continue listening and being obedient to all opportunities that God places in our paths.
- Pray for good health and against malaria.
- The BEAUTIFUL children (some pictures above) who go to the school where we help out. If you feel led to donate to any of them, some of them are still in need of sponsors!! A one time fee of $50 USD covers the cost of sending one child to school for a year- this covers their uniform, and all of their school supplies (please reach out to me if God lays this on your heart- meaganthompson94@gmail.com).
