God Answers Prayers (7/16/22)

Time has been flying by these past two weeks! There are so many sweet stories to tell of God's work on Long Island. He has been incredibly good and faithful as always. One of the truths He has reminded me of recently is how He answers prayers.   The other day, I asked God to give me a clear opportunity to share the gospel with someone. I have been having good conversations with people, but they have not been le...

The First Two Weeks (7/1/22)

It's crazy that it has already been a little over two weeks since I arrived in New York. It has been a wonderful time so far seeing new places, meeting new people, and trying new things. Most importantly, God has been teaching me and bringing me closer to Him.   We spent the first week getting to know people at the church and visiting some local places. It was a fun time of fellowship, and a good preparation fo...

Welcome to New York! (6/20/22)

My team and I have been in New York for about half a week. So far we have been getting to know the church we're staying at and what is nearby. Later this week, we will start our ministry outreach to the local college campuses and community.   We have today and tomorrow off to spend some time exploring New York. Today, we're hiking at a park in the afternoon and watching live music at a Fun Fest in the evening. ...

Remember Who God Is (6/12/22)

I leave for New York on Wednesday. It's slowly becoming more real as I begin the final stages of packing and preparing before the trip. The past few months since the last update have been full of school, goodbyes, and family time. One of the fun blessings was that I got to meet my team for New York earlier this month at our training. It will be great to serve alongside them! Overall, there have been many stressful, r...

Plow On! (2/27/22)

God has brought some exciting changes to my life. First, a couple weeks ago, my team and I learned that we will no longer be going to Costa Rica. Instead, we will be serving in Guatemala!   Additionally, this summer (before the World Race), I will be going on mission to Long Island, NY with Go Now Missions. I will be serving at Crossroads Church, helping them start ministering to the college campuses nearby. Th...

In Awe (2/14/22)

I have few words to describe all that God has been doing recently. It has been incredible to witness His faithfulness and abundance. One important example to update you on is my fundraising. After about a month of fundraising, I am now fully funded at $15,800! Let that sink in. In one month, God provided $15,800. He is faithful! He is abundant! Thank you to all who joined in His work, and gave.   Therefore, sit...

The Way of Surrender (11/24/21)

“For what is a man profited if he gains the whole world, and loses or forfeits himself?” (Luke 9:25, NASB). Taking a gap year in the middle of college was never my plan. I thought that I would get my degree in four years, hopefully study abroad one semester, and move into the business world. Thankfully, God has shown me a different way—the way of surrender. I first decided to follow Jesus when I was five-years-old, b...
